2010 Global Competition
2010 Global Competition Winners
Congratulations to the 2010 Global Competition Winners!
About the Competition
The NFC Forum Global Competition promotes the development and deployment of innovative and exemplary NFC services by both commercial and academic developers. Entries will be judged on their innovation, commercial potential, and usability, as well as quality of design and implementation. Finalists and winners may look forward to global media coverage, increased awareness among industry leaders and venture capitalists, and opportunities to forge partnerships and share ideas. Twenty finalists will be named; six winners will receive cash prizes.
View the Global Competition Webcast, The Keys to a Winning Entry, held on January 20, 2010. Learn how to enter, how the process works, what the judges are looking for, and what winning the competition can do for your organization.
The competition has two tracks:
Commercial Track: Recognizes the commercial solution judged "The Best NFC Service of the Year 2010".
Research Track: Honors the academic organization that develops "The Most Innovative NFC Research Project of the Year 2010".
The Judging Committee will evaluate each entry, and 10 finalists in each track will be announced in March. Finalists are invited to present their entries to the judges at the WIMA conference in Monaco on April 21-22, 2010. The judges will then select three winners in each track to receive cash prizes.
All six winners will receive a Global Competition trophy and all 20 finalists will receive a certificate of commendation.
All prices exclude 19.6% VAT.
